Sponsorship Opportunities
Summer Recreation was canceled due to construction! But then things changed! We will be
having our Summer Recreation Program this summer! There will be swimming, time at
playgrounds, games, arts and crafts, field trips, special events, and lots of fun! Because we will be in
an unfamiliar location (Stevens Elementary), we are going to limit the camp to approximately 250
campers this year. Each year, the demand increases, and we try our very best to accommodate
everyone! We are thrilled with our growth and look forward to providing a fun, safe program for the
children of our community.
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Summer Recreation program realizes that, from a business
standpoint, no resource is as important as the human resource. This is why we have placed a high
priority on hiring young, exciting, and innovative directors and counselors. We also make it a priority
to offer our program to every child in the community, no matter their family’s financial situation. To
ensure that the children of our community have every opportunity to enjoy a fun, safe summer, we are
reaching out to business leaders in Burnt Hills, Ballston Lake, Charlton, and Glenville in hopes that
they will join as sponsors of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Summer Recreation program.
The BHBL Summer Recreation program runs from July 1, 2025, to July 24, 2025. It will be
held at Stevens Elementary School. The program runs daily from 8:30 am-2:30 pm each day. The
program is one of the only programs in the Capital District that offers transportation to and from the
program. Students are engaged in activities that foster critical thinking, use creativity, involve
teamwork, and encourage them to improve their communication skills.
The majority of the families in our community have parents who work full-time jobs. Parents
are forced to find affordable care for the younger children in our community. Older students are often
left at home unsupervised. The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Summer Recreation program offers parents
an affordable month-long program where kids are supervised by an experienced staff. Students go
swimming, attend field trips, participate in theme days, make new friends, and create lasting
memories. Unfortunately, in these economic times, there are parents who do not have the financial
means to send their children to the Summer Recreation program. That is why we’re asking for your
help in sponsoring a student to attend the program. There are four levels of support. Each
company that sponsors a student will be thanked publicly on our Facebook page, as well as our
website, have your company’s name listed on the back of our camp t-shirt, and be listed as a
sponsor on all of our emailed and paper communications.
If you wish to be a 2025 BHBL Summer Recreation sponsor, please visit our website at
Bhblsummerrec.com and complete the registration process, or you can return the enclosed response
form. Let me thank you in advance for your time and support. I look forward to speaking with you
and answering any questions you might have.
Let the Summer Begin!
