This has been very tricky and I apologize for being slow to get information out to you. Just this week, the Department of Health released information for camps. It is important to recognize that guidelines for camps are different than guidelines for summer school. It is creating some confusion. Please read the following bullets carefully:

• If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. I would like to err on the side of caution.
• Participants in the BHBL Summer Recreation program are NOT required to wear face coverings while at camp (inside or outside the premise). They are optional and we will support parents’ wishes.
• However, if you are riding the bus to and from Summer Recreation, a MASK MUST BE WORN on the bus. This includes FIELD TRIPS as well.
• Parents will not need to complete a screening form each day.
• Temperatures will not be checked as campers board buses or enter Charlton Heights.
• Hand cleaning and cleaning/disinfecting of equipment will be prioritized.
• Food should NEVER be shared.

Should guidelines change, we will make the necessary arrangements to ensure the safety of campers and staff.
