Counselor Information

Thank you for your interest in seasonal employment with the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Recreation Program. All Summer Recreation Counselor Applications are due by Monday, April 24, 2024. Any applications received after this date will automatically be waitlisted. There will be approximately 18-25 positions available for the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Summer Recreation program. This year, we MAY hire 8-10 Junior Counselors to help run the program. These are non-paying positions. These positions are an excellent way to earn volunteer hours for the National Junior Honor Society. Junior Counselors will be held to the same expectations as paid counselor positions.

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Summer Recreation Program is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Summer Recreation will run from Monday, July 1, 2024 to Friday, July 26, 2024 (closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day).
